Read here to learn how to set up sales tax in QuickBooks Online, including how to set up sales tax for the Marketplace Facilitator Tax.
If you're using FBA, you'll need to configure these tax rates for QuickBooks Online and map them in order for us to properly process the taxes.
If you're fulfilling your own orders, you won't need to map this service item.
We'll process both MarketplaceFacilitatorTax-Principal and MarketplaceFacilitatorTax-Shipping to the same service item. Since Amazon collects and remits sales tax on your behalf, you can pay the tax liability in QuickBooks Online using the Marketplace Facilitator Tax bank account.
Create a bank account named Amazon US Facilitator Tax (Detail Type: Cash on hand) and create a Service item named Amazon US Marketplace Facilitator Tax linked to the Amazon Marketplace Facilitator Tax bank account.
Then create a new Service item in QuickBooks Online.
This service item will need to be typed into the SellerZen platform under Taxes. Make sure it's spelled correctly. Click on Save.
Once you're done setting up the bank account, set up the Sales Tax agencies in QuickBooks to complete the Taxes tab on SellerZen.

QuickBooks Online companies created after November 10, 2017 will be on the new Automated Sales Tax module unless you chose to upgrade to the Automated Sales Tax for your company.
